Responsibilities for Fabricator welder:
The responsibilities for the job of Fabricator welder are as following.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Select, clean, and prepare metal stock for fabrication
- Cut and shape metal components using hand tools and machinery
- Weld, bolt, or rivet metal sections together using appropriate techniques
- Clean, polish, and file finished products to specification
- Smooth and inspect welds using filing, grinding, or chemical solutions
- Assemble steel structures on site following safety guidelines
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and equipment functionality
Requirements for Fabricator welder:
The requirements for the job of Fabricator welder are as following.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a fabricator/welder in structural fabrication or general metal manufacturing
- Proficient in reading engineering plans and technical drawings
- Proven track record in adhering to health and safety standards
- Must be eligible to pass a pre-employment drug test and medical check
- No criminal convictions (mandatory)
